The excessive use of petroleum and fossil fuels, plus erosion and other misuses of our natural resources are reducing the carrying capacity of our ecosystem.The concept of sustainable development is universally accepted as a means of protecting the environment for the whole of manhood and demands, that the future manufacturing technologies must be cleaner, yet economically strong and ecologically beneficial.
